Biography
Aileen S. Douglas, age 98, formerly of Speedway, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Apostolic Christian Skylines in Peoria, Illinois.
Aileen was born on April 7, 1912 in Johnson County, Indiana to Marion and Lettie (Hunter) Stockton. She married Harold Douglas on November 25, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Aileen was a graduate of the School of Music at Butler University. She then taught in the Marion County Schools for over 20 years. Aileen is survived by two daughters, Karen Morgan of Oviedo, Florida and Diane Thannert of Peoria, Illinois.
Services will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11am at the Speedway Christian Church in Speedway, Indiana with visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Skylines or Speedway Christian Church. Online condolences may be made at www.cumerford.com. Arrangements were made by Richard S.
